Be sure to complete the online PSLF waiver application as much in advance as possible. The sooner we receive your request for a PSLF waiver, the quicker we can begin our evaluation of your eligibility for PSLF.

The following are the waiver requirements: 1) Be a Philippine citizen 2) Meet the age requirement (21 years old and above) 3) Insured for more than 1 year 4) Working in the Philippines 5) Not insurable due to pre-existing condition 6) Excluded from coverage under health benefits program without any applicable justification.

The waiver application is intended to help you keep your spending in line with what you can afford this period of time, and help you budget for the next such period. The application will provide a budgeted projection on how much you should be spending, and identify expenses that may not be necessary or even desired at this point, allowing you to adjust appropriately.

PSLF Application

The PSLF application is only available to federal employees and includes a waiver form to fill out. The waiver form is not included in the PSLF application. With the PSLF, you will be able to put a dent in your monthly loan payment by using any tax refund that you receive to pay down your loans. When you make 120 eligible payments towards your repayment plan, any remaining balance is forgiven.

PSLF application process is a bit of a pain. There are lots of forms to fill out and documents to upload, and you have to make sure everything is perfect before you submit it.

To apply for PSLF, you’ll need to fill out this form. The application is pretty simple: we just need your name, date of birth, and social security number. You’ll also need to indicate whether or not you already have a loan in repayment. If so, let us know the amount and the date on which it was first disbursed.

In addition to completing this form, you’ll also need to submit an Employment Certification Form (ECF), which is a document you can download from StudentLoans.gov. The ECF requires you to confirm that you’re employed full-time at an eligible institution or organization while making 120 qualifying payments toward your Direct Loans. If you meet these requirements, then we’ll be able to tell you whether or not your application has been approved.
