How To Apply For Star Program?

In order to benefit from the star program, you must be a member of the armed forces, either active or retired, a reservist, or a family member. If you officially have one of these titles, you can get help from certain health institutions.

While in the star program, active duty personnel develop wholesome eating practices, engage in regular exercise to combat the impacts of stress and unpleasant emotions, and learn to thrive.

What Is Star Rehabilitation?

Strength Training and Recovery (star rehabilitation) is a cutting-edge, evidence-based Physical and Occupational Therapy facility. The star program is applied with the resources and knowledge to accommodate and treat a variety of injuries and conditions.

These conditions may be whiplash, low back pain, and other related injuries, as well as pre-and post-operative orthopedic injuries, amputees, degenerative musculoskeletal conditions, and mild traumatic brain injuries (mTBI).

After the star rehabilitation, patients go back to their jobs and daily lives healthier and faster with knowledge of how to protect themselves from further pain and injury.

What Is The Transitional Assistance Management Program?

When a military member leaves the uniformed services, the Transitional Assistance Management Program (TAMP), a short-term medical care program, provides 180 days of healthcare benefits to them and their families.

These benefits are intended to assist service members and their families who are leaving the military unexpectedly or without their consent. In order to bridge the insurance coverage gap until the member and his family can obtain health insurance, TAMP provides six months of coverage.

The family can obtain health insurance through a civilian employer or through an individual health care plan after they leave the military. If TAMP is available to you, it should be indicated in your DEERS profile.

Your TAMP benefits period will start the day after you formally leave active service. It is crucial to complete your research in advance to determine whether you will be eligible for the program or not.
