The reason Russia is invading Ukraine is because of a few reasons. First, it is because of the fact that there is a lot of history between the two countries. For example, Russia has been invading Ukraine for centuries. In fact, in the 18th century, there was a war between them and it took place in Crimea.Second, it is because of the fact that Russia wants to control Ukraine’s gas supplies and prevent them from becoming part of NATO.Third, it is because Putin wants to increase his power and make himself look good in front of his people by acting like he has strong leadership qualities.

Russia is invading Ukraine because they want to expand their territory and they want to keep their neighbors in check. They also want to keep the countries that border them weak and dependent on them, so they can use them as tools in their foreign policy.

The Policy of the Governments

The Russian government has been pushing for more control over Ukraine since the end of World War II, when it was still a part of the Soviet Union. The Soviet Union was dissolved in 1991, but Russia still wants to dominate Ukraine—that’s why they have been trying to bring Ukraine into the Russian fold with violence and propaganda campaigns.

Russia’s occupation of Crimea has been going on since 2014, when pro-Russian forces took over several military bases there (and now they’ve taken over most of the rest of it). This occupation is still ongoing—there are no signs that they will stop anytime soon!

It’s because the Ukraine is a mostly agricultural country with a lot of natural resources, and Russia needs them to keep its economy going. It’s also because they want to expand their influence over Eastern Europe and assert themselves as a world power.

It’s hard to know why Russia is invading Ukraine.

Russia has long wanted control of Ukraine, and they have been trying to get it for decades. They have tried to do this by placing puppet governments in power, but they haven’t been able to do that until recently.

There were two reasons why Russia was unable to take over Ukraine before now: 1) The people of Ukraine want independence from Russia, and 2) The government of Ukraine was strong enough to keep out Russian influence.

But recently, these two things changed. First, a new government came into power in Kiev and decided it would give up its independence in exchange for peace with Russia. Second, the new leaders of Ukraine were not very good at keeping their country safe from Russian influence—or even from Russian aggression—and so Russia was able to take over Crimea without much resistance.
